Co-NTA is an Nitrilotriacetic acid (NTA)-based ligand affinity resin. The chelated Co2+ ions are in the center of an octahedral structure, which prevents small molecules from attacking and makes it structurally stable. The resin can interact with histidine (His), cysteinylglycine (Cys) and tryptophan (Trp) on proteins or peptides for separation.
