SP6 RNA Polymerase

SignalChem Diagnostics SP6 RNA Polymerase (20 U/μL) is a recombinant enzyme designed for efficient in vitro transcription of RNA from DNA templates containing an SP6 promoter sequence. The enzyme utilizes NTPs as substrates and can transcribe from single- or double-stranded DNA templates, producing RNA transcripts complementary to the downstream DNA sequence. The enzyme is also able to recognize modified NTPs, such as those labelled with biotin, digoxigenin, or fluorescein, making it suitable for a broad range of molecular biology and biotechnology applications.
